The-Bodleian-LIbrary
Minimal invasion of the fabric of this famous ancient building was achieved by shining carefully designed and focused optical heads through existing holes in the ancient ceiling panels. The light heads themselves are thus completely concealed.
Light free of damaging UV illuminates rare books on the shelves below.
The lightsources are grouped into quadrants for quick and easy maintenance, within the ceiling void itself and accessibly via hatchways off the roof.
