Exquisite Carnet Jewellery Exhibitions

Absolute Action Limited installed and focused the lighting for a 6 week exhibition at the Burrell Collection in Glasgow.

Working to a very tight budget and deadline, stock fibre optic harnesses were adapted using a range of variably-sized graticules, with which it was possible to achieve uniquely bespoke lighting for each gem or piece of jewellery.

Beadblasted mini-tracks as well as fibre optic lenses were used to light the jewellery perfectly whilst ensuring that none of the lighting fixtures were visible so as not to detract from the beauty of Michelle Ong's work.

Carnet were so delighted with this work that the company was subsequently commissioned to provide fibre optic lighting throughout the display cases in their shop in Hong Kong, and more recently for a a reprise of the Glasgow Exhibition at a special celebration of international collaboration at Asia House, in London.
