National Bank of Dubai Pearl Museum

Absolute Action was commissioned by the National Bank of Dubai to manufacture, instal and focus fibre optic showcase lighting throughout the seven different galleries within the museum, most notably the Sultan Ali Al Owais gallery, The Pearls in Arabian Waters gallery and The Pearl Collection gallery.

Pearls respond in surprising variety to different tonalities and intensities of light, which was very carefully balanced to bring out the best in irridescent beauty for each exhibit, whether of cascades of loose pearls or of elaborate settings in jewellery.

The beauty of fibre optic lighting for the enhancement of pearls was also recognized by the National Museum of Natural History at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC, and the company was specially commissioned to apply their magic touch to the exclusive temporary exhibit, The Allure of Pearls.
