Linen Hall
The lighting designers working for the Crown Estates made extensive use of fibre optics on many buildings up and down Regent Street in London where controlled spotlighting at high level was required.
This application at Linen Hall takes advantage of the many benefits of using quality fibre optic lighting systems in such applications. With fixtures machined from enduring stainless steel and all other elements being either highly durable metal or glass, there are no components to degrade or fail - ever - in difficult to access locations.
For the same reason, relamping and any other routine maintenance is necessary only at the light source locations, these all being sited internally within the buildings concerned.
Full dimming control protocols were included as needed, to enable to fibre optic spotlights to be harmoniously tuned with the other types of facade lighting.
