The structural walls either side of the bay windowed area above the entrance are up-lit to create a dramatic wall wash effect. With output fixtures located above the protruding architectural detail, maintenance of more traditional lighting would have been impossible.

Light sources are mounted internally for ease of access, and permanent high-level exterior lighting is again rendered simple, functionally robust, and entirely durable with fibre optics.
